Re: Creaking noise after ignition off

Check the solenoid cut off valve on the injection pump. It sounds like the engine still runs a little bit more after shut down....meaning there's still a small amount of fuel getting into the engine which keeps it running for a few seconds more.

Re: major leakage

looks like its coming from the injection pump shaft oil seal. Try and open the timing cover to see it clearly. Timing belt might snap if not serviced immediately.

Good luck.

Excessive Oil Consumption for the New 2800 4M40 engines??

Tip of an iceberg? or a random case of negligence in preventive maintenance....It's too early to say ...but we've recently encountered a 1994 Mitsubishi Pajero with the new 2800 - 4M40 engine. Customer complains of excessive oil consumption (he has added about 8 liters of oil within 5,000 kms) Visua...

Re: Changing rear diff fluid (help)

Hi,

Socket size is 24mm. Fluid ....I would use the Penzoil GL5 80W/90 yellow plastic can good for LSD or conventional diff...so you should be safe with it if you're not sure if you have LSD or not. ALso takes about 2 liters.

Re: Attention!! WVO Is it SAFE??

For proper WVO install or questions relating to WVO issues and servicing, I would recommend Andrew Horvath (604) 908-4832. He's confirmed that the issues with shut down purging and the six port valves that a lot of people are using might be the main cause of failure as these valves malfunction witho...

Re: Attention!! WVO Is it SAFE??

Some updates: Delica 1 (with independent tank for WVO) that had the broken tip left on the cyl head housing. Good news is we were able to pop it out! Great savings for Andrew! The delica fired up and apparently, his switch from WVO to diesel malfunctioned so the diesel isn't connecting when he needs...
