Re: L300 Alternator Replacement- Stuck in Osoyoos
It is a pretty basic and generic job for a mechanic to replace an alternator so I wouldn't be worried.

If the furniture blocks any of the windows perhaps you could remove the glass and insert a wood/metal substitute and put all the holes you need through that.

Re: Whos cashing in their Bitcoins?
What do people use bitcoins for anyway? The only feasible use I've heard for them is to buy drugs. You are too young to be close minded. You can buy all sorts of things with bitcoins just like you can buy all sorts of things with CDN$. In the last month I have used Bitcoins and Quark to buy compute...

Re: Newbie Delica Shopper
Just noticed someone mention my L400 :-D Only issues left on my L400 are the valve cover gasket leak (common issue...talk to CREGAN about that!!) and the Air Conditioning condenser fan needs repair/replace. Both issues are pretty minor. Oh and sliding door only opens from inside. Main reason I have ...

It wasn't the lawyers....its was guys like me that crunch numbers and analyze datasets that exposed the 'study' was as unsinkable as the titanic. The lawyers just stamped things and played golf.

Re: Dibbs on the first D5!
If the D5 has just 4Hi with Front+Rear Diff Locks then it should be pretty similar to the Vanagon Syncro in capability...which is still pretty damn good.

Yo I'm Vinnie Boberino! Back like a bad smell... 8-) I got mine off Ebay for $17. With an automatic trans there just isn't a better way than the tool. They might have those available from cdn tire as a free loaner tool...I never thought about it until I was done the job, worth checking out. You can ...

Don't leave your crank pulley if you suspect its going. When mine split it shifted everything forward and into my rad fan! I wish I saw the $65 replacement when I did mine...think I paid $400 goddamnit. Tips: Loosen: Using a breaker bar & a flick of the starter to loosen works a treat. Just reme...

Mine did that once and when I opened the access panel I found that Mardy had put a pair of his underpants in there with a love letter attached and it was caught in the window regulator. Maybe the same issue for you?

Re: I Want to Sell My L400 this Weekend.
I found a place to store the L400 for another month so no squish squash yet. I'd still rather just sell it now than pay for storage so it will be on the road until Saturday so if anyone wants a Christmas treat show up with $6000 by Friday and you have the best Delica deal of the year. Don't forget i...
