I am looking for a photo of a deli with the strip of plastic trim that runs the length of the van removed. I want to do this to mine when I
paint it but my wife thinks it will " look like crap" if I do. I would like to show her an example. Thanks.

Andy,
No pictures for you (I think Josh removed his) but if I recall by removing it you end up with a bunch of holes where the trim was clipped in place...

Hey,
This is Josh's sweet silver bullet.
there would be some small holes.
easy enough to fill. more pics here

Land Shark was pre-trim era I like the look myself, less flying rock protection I guess...
Taking them off for the paint job would give you better results no?
Then you could make up your mind (and maybe hers),win win.
Give the fastners some WD-40 (Adrock Juice) therapy a few days
before and a few times, they like to shear off sometimes and not play nice.
Right On Hombre!

Muchisimas gracias amigo's. I will run these past Leigh and let her decide. I think it will help give it a nice clean look and its so cheap to
do down here. When she's done I'll posts a couple photo's.

Hey Andy,
Josh put his strip back on, mine never had it from the factory:

I personally like it without, less dirt and water trapped in behind it to start corroding.

Side trim strip.
Logging in away from home but will take pic later.
Not so bad me thinks, I've left all trim off since cutting to fit the 31" - my intention is the fill the holes and rhinoline the lower 12 inch or so (to mach my roof!)...but that would only be after I finish my front bumper which might be 2012 at the current rate of progress !
