Ladder, Roof rack & basket for L400

Hi,

I'm looking for a ladder and roof rack with basket - preferably the ones that come from japan - for my L400 (high roof). I'm open to options

seems like there are a few of us who would like racks, ect.. wish we could get a line on some from japan... wouldnt be cheap im sure... might be forced to biuld one... would like one to possibly add a rooftent.... sleeping off the ground in style...lol :-)

One thing I would take into consideration with roof tents is wind resistance. This can cost you in your mileage when driving down the highway.

While fuel economy will be affected with the addition of extra things on the roof of your ride, the more pressing issue with a roof-top tent will be the setup of it. I found that unless it was a clam-shell style (such as those sold by AutoHome), climbing up onto the van can be difficult for setup (this is why I took mine off the top of my L300 and mounted it onto a trailer).
