Hi,
I'm looking for a ladder and roof rack with basket - preferably the ones that come from japan - for my L400 (high roof). I'm open to options

seems like there are a few of us who would like racks, ect.. wish we could get a line on some from japan... wouldnt be cheap im sure... might be forced to biuld one... would like one to possibly add a rooftent.... sleeping off the ground in style...lol

While fuel economy will be affected with the addition of extra things on the roof of your ride, the more pressing issue with a roof-top tent will be the setup of it. I found that unless it was a clam-shell style (such as those sold by AutoHome), climbing up onto the van can be difficult for setup (this is why I took mine off the top of my L300 and mounted it onto a trailer).FalcoColumbarius wrote:One thing I would take into consideration with roof tents is wind resistance.
