On the road in US and Canada...
Nothing going on right now. I wound definitely check out Vancouver island and especially tofino if your coming in October. I'll be there in early September but the surf will be better in October. Also it seems like tofino is the delica capital of the world.

Altimeter, Inclinometer Pod Connection and Power?
Anyone know where to get that plastic piece that covers the front screws on the gauge pod? Mine came off and went out the window on a turn.

Timing Help
Hi there, I've done the belt 4 times now and the sprockets always move a bit. I find it takes me a good 5 minutes to hold the ip sprocket while tightening the tensioner to get the teeth perfect. Did you check the 3 marks before you put it back together? Also did you do any maintenance to the fuel sy...

Brakes question
When doing back brakes do 1 side at a time that way you have Chinese blueprint. Have a look before you start to see if your wheel cylinder is leaking. Front brakes are very simple just make sure if you always add brake fluid when you push the Pistons back in the fluid will overflow.

New Owner, Questions About Cooling
3/4 is very hot if you don't have air conditioning on. I would definitely replace the rad if it's original. That helped my delica. Also check for a jacuzzi in the expansion tank while it's running (head gasket).

Still running Hot!
My van was not blowing white smoke or losing coolant. It was pressurizing the coolant and was running ok it you only put the rad cap on to the first notch. I takes a few hours to get the head off. Take a look and see if your gasket is blown. Note there will probably be cracks around the fuel/ igniti...

I had basically the same problem and my head was not cracked just a blown head gasket. It cost 120$ and a few days work if you take your time. I did the seals in my turbo at the same time. If your timing belt, water pump and radiator is old it would be a good time to tackle that as well but the rad ...

Turbo rebuild not working out
I just redid my turbo too. I noticed the nut from the turbo had a balance grind on it so I reused the old nut and vibrio engraved the shaft and impeller for reassembling.

Cracked Head Issues....
I'm doing my head gasket now but the delica shop I buy parts from has told me the head is always cracked which I'm not sure about. I've been reading the posts and if the new heads everyone is buying are crap than I think I'll take mine to get pressure checked and reinstall it if it's good. Anyone pu...

I'm doing my head right now. It's a lot easier than I thought it would be just remember to label and bag everything so you know where it goes.

Hi everyone, what are some of the most common maintenance problems encountered with owning an L300?
I would definetly change the flexible oil line going to the alternator. Mine went and left a trail of oil for a kilometre. Good thing I was going to Canadian tire down the street. I heard of delica's losing all there oil and the engine seized which basically scraps the van.
