Re: roof rack help for a L400

Guys
A friend closeby (that doesn't frequent the forum) has a neat roof rack/basket combo that I will take a pic of.
His mounts in the gutter and clamps without removing the trim piece. Very simple! Expect a pic in the next few days.

Faraz
If you listed your location on your profile it would be easier to help you. I've seen H3's last week for $4-5.00.

Re: Tardis Garage

David Amen, can't think of anything to add to that. Luv them both. P.S. exactly what I did when TLBF arrived home. I was too nervous and removed the safari basket. Guess I thought it was going to grow taller one night. Ha ha Jay may not work on my gasser. Oh no! What to do without my electrical guru...

Re: Mini meet , Ikea,17 july...anyone interested?

Guys Thanks for planning a meet. I'll be there. Always good info to learn and great people to visit with. Hope Christine and Jay are coming too. It wouldn't seem normal without them. Sure, try a park or your house if you like next time. Mark it down on the site calendar so everyone knows it's genuij...

Re: What has better mileage, the gasser or the diesel?

Aclarker My L400 2.4 Litre gas fuel use is the same as my L300 in town but better on the highway. The L400 V6 gasser should be a great highway cruiser with much improved (highway) fuel mileage. With a full load of camping gear and boat I drove Coquitlam -Wiliams lake before a gas stop and return wit...

Re: What has better mileage, the gasser or the diesel?

Guys I need a few more tanks to get a better idea but my 2.4 gasser has much better mileage than my L300 diesel. Lots of gold stars for this vehicle. A longer range per tank would be beneficial. 600-640 seems normal before the fuel light comes on. 4X4 gravel road use really sucks up the fuel. The ma...

Christine
Tardisdeli was looking so bright and shiny Friday at CVI. It looked brand new! :-D

Chris also was doing body work and spray painting at CVI. Hmm... Interesting side lines... Must talk with Butch!

Re: Backroads GPS map / Garmin released

It's a great product and rich in detail as JF says. BMB works well with Metroguide Canada and North America NT, switching to the different maps easily. I'm waiting for the upgrades due later this year showing the new Fraser crossings and other features as well. Ask for the BMB to be loaded on to a 2...

L400 VIN plate location??

Guys
Where are the VIN plates on a L400???

ICBC says when a vehicle has less than X digits in a VIN number they need two plates to verify the VIN number.
