Electical Issues (Overloading Electrics Circuit?)
I would say yes. Diesels are very simple. Most, if not all, the wiring etc is to get it started and to run all the lights etc. Unlike a gas motor, a diesel does not need electricity to keep running. You may be getting enough of a charge to get it going again, but not keep the electronics going full ...

4d56T block heater install
Or you could install a Wolverine. These are not expensive, easy to install and make a world of difference.

Oily Mess
Replaced the radiator over the weekend and had a chance to look into a oil weep I have had for a while.
This is what I found. to the left of the engine, turbo area.
Any ideas what may be causing this and what route I should take to resolve it?
Thanks.

1991 Delica low roof van and accessories for sale
I am interested in the skid plate. Won't be up to Vancouver for a month or so but I am happy to pay now if you can hold on to it for a bit.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Those clips are not Delica specific. They are very common. A good parts store should have them in different sizes.

Turns in 4wd make strange noise
It good to go through the system at any rate. If nothing else you will become familiar with it so that when you do have a problem you know what is going on. As far as my experience with binding (noise). It is extremely surface dependant. Dry pavement will bind the soonest and probably something like...

Battery Size
91 Delica L300 Exceed.
I have the dual battery system in my Delica and am thinking of changing to Odyssey batteries.
I see some people are using group 34 and some are using group 35. Seems like they would both fit but which is preferred, if any?
Thanks.

Turns in 4wd make strange noise
4wd systems are not, in general, designed to handle "sharp turns". The surface usually dictates how "sharp" a turn you can make before you get some sort of noise or binding. I have a Unimog, a Delica, a new Jeep and a VW Syncro. It is not hard in any of them to recreate the noise...

L300 snorkel interest?
I believe Rising Sun is bringing in a shipment of FTS ones in the Spring. I want to say he is charging $380 CA and taking deposits now. I will also add that I have done business with FTS. I ordered a set of their skid plates. Great product and a definite upgrade from the basic "rock guards"...

BC folks heading South for the Holidays?
Anyone heading South to Oregon or Washington (or through them) for the holidays?
I would like to get a couple larger parts (radiator, ladder) for my L300 and if we could work something out where you could bring them with I can make it worth you while.
Thanks.
