Re: A/C Advice

Yea that low pressure side was a major pain to find, much easier with a single battery. I was going to do it all myself but when I priced everything out it just made more sense to get the pro's to do it. I am getting a used rear condenser from CCautos. Great guys to deal with, praying that the conde...

Re: A/C Advice

Thanks for the advice, im going to replace the rear condenser. Hopefully that was the only leak. The guy who pressure tested my AC told me that I shouldnt recharge with red tek if its empty, only if it needs a top up. He said I should get it vacuum pumped first then charged with refrigerant. Is it r...

A/C Advice

Need a bit of guidance on what to do with my AC system. It hasn't worked since I got my L400, with the heat I am really craving it. The dogs as well! Initially I tried recharging it with red-tek. Worked great for a couple hours then all the refrigerant leaked out. Today I got it pressure tested and ...

I use two stroke outboard oil, usually shell nautilus. 200:1 runs great!

Re: L400 AC Low Pressure Valve

Aaa thank you so much. Managed to hook it up with the intercooler still attached, had to do some funky contortions. Recharged the system this morning, no hissing sounds so that was nice. Looks like you need 3 cans of red tek to do the whole system, mine isn't quite at the right pressure with 2. Now ...

Re: L400 AC Low Pressure Valve

Im going to use red tek to refill the system. Hoping it doesnt just leak out! I will poke around the wheel well tommorow. From what ive read two cans of red tek should do the trick.

L400 AC Low Pressure Valve

Hi everyone, This heat is killing me, so i've decided to recharge my AC system. But I am having a hell of a time finding the valve on the low pressure side of the AC system. I found the high pressure valve easy enough, down behind the radiator under the power steering fluid resevoir. So I followed t...

Re: Sure Power Battery Isolator for 1998 Delica L400?

Blue Sea stuff is great. I was going to do the same thing but then my dad gave me a tiny honda generator. Works great to run my battery charger, and now I dont have to spend all those $$ on a battery, inverter and gear to hook it all up. My only regret is that I didn't get an oddysey battery. Got on...

Hey, is this true? Even when I've driven around with the fuel light on for WAY too long I still only squeeze in less than 60L.
I have auto L300 Crystal-Light.
Pretty sure 75L is for the L400 auto....hope so otherwise i've been mixing my 2-stroke wrong!

Warning Gauges

Just trying to decide what to install on my L400 for warning gauges and could use a little advice. From what I gather a pyrometer is the most important gauge to install, especially since I will be towing heavy loads. Now if I have a pyrometer will it show me if there is an overheating event occurrin...

Re: How much oil do YOU put in when doing an oil change?

The engine holds about 9 liters but you wont get that much to drain. It usually ends up being about 6.5 liters for me. Somewhere around there anyways.

PS Costco has a great price for diesel oil, around 55$ for 12 liters

Re: What did you do TO your Delica today?

Then on the way there one of my power windows stops working, will only go down half an inch. Double F*ck....now I get to learn how power windows work. Left or Right door? If the left, I might have some parts you need. Its the right. It seems like it just jammed, hopefully no need for parts. Cross m...
