For $15.85 and a bit of time I think it's worth a shot.

Check Your Spare

Just had a look at mine. New tire, new rim with japanese sticker, 5-bolt. WTF!! I had to count the bolt holes half a dozen times before making this post.

Mystery Rattle Solved (I think)

It is with some trepidation that I declare that the mystery rattle has been solved (fingers crossed). For about a month (since I got the van) I've been going nuts trying to track down a bizarre rattle. I've been convinced that it was eminating from under the dash, somewhere up behind the glove box. ...

I got a Mitsu harness from A&B sound too. Strictly off the shelf.

This may be overly simplistic but have you checked that the throttle linkage returns to idle position?

Just had a quick look. I see a number on a sticker (easily visible) and what looks like a stamped number under the throttle linkage (need to remove linkage to see it clearly). I've read the post on the UK site but it's still not entirely clear to me how to proceed. Did you just start disassembling f...

Andy,

Well that is encouraging! How did find out the pump model? Is it stamped somewhere that can be seen without taking the pump off or apart? (So I can get the seals before I start).

Cheers,

Peter.

Tire size calculator (http://www.powerdog.com/tiresize.cgi) says 235/75R15 are 28.9" inches. I'm running 235/75R15 BFG Mud-Terrains. Surprisingly quiet (relatively). Not noticably noisier than the All-Terrains I ran on my F150 and they don't pick up as many rocks (I was constantly digging rocks...

Sloppy Shifter Fix - (MT Only)

If you've got a 5spd and you think the stick is a little sloppier than you'd like there is something you can do. Take off both shift knobs and the four screws (or is it two?) that hold on the shifter cowling and then lift it off. Have a close look at the linkage for both the trans and transfer case ...

My personal favourite is the two-handed panic sort of wave. This looks especially hilarious in a forward-control vehicle like the Delica or the old econoline vans because it gives the humerous impression that you've been strapped in against your consent.

I'll wave at anyone. Heck, sometimes I wave for no reason. Here on Gabriola everyone waves at their buddies. If you buy someone else's car (like I did) you have to wave at all their buddies until they figure out the ownership change. I'm also a motorcyclist (Suzuki SV650S, v-twin sport bike) and I w...

Any of you guys in hitch-group-buy considering discarding your bumper bar? If it's white and in good shape I'll give you some dollars for it.

Well, the hitch shop scrapped Scott's bumper bar (thanks for trying to track that down for me Scott).

Anyone else got one that's taking up space in the garage? If it's white and in good shape I'll give you some dollars for it.

Peter.
