Re: Coolant not circulating to VegMax + Hotfox
Could you describe how you burped the system? I'm trying to get the coolant flowing through my filter heater loop and having no success. I tried the trick with driving up a steep hill several times but it didn't work for me. My hoses are hooked to T's in the rear heater inlet and outlet hoses. I tri...

Re: Weird electrical issues appeared
I just took my switch apart after wresting with taking the steering wheel off and just about lost a lot of little parts forever. When I pulled apart the board where the slider sits it was covered in muck, so after cleaning it and the sliding switch everything worked great!

Re: Weird electrical issues appeared
I just started having issues with my switch as well. I can't turn on my running lights, the little lever in the switch is working because it turns on the headlights when the van is off. However I don't get any running lights or dash lights. For now I have unplugged my foglight bulbs so I can use tha...

Re: Re-charge A/C
g_man1972 I also think that it must have been too hot for the AC to work right. I had just gotten mine fixed for a final bill of 800 bucks (500 for retrofit and 300 for recharge again and replacing of some low pressure valve.) and it didn't seem to be working. I'm glad I checked in this forum becaus...

Re: Air Conditioner not working
Went to Fraser Valley Radiator today and had my AC retrofited for a total of $503.36. It was very cold for a short time then stopped working. I was hearing the click every time the AC would kick in, then it would get really cold. Now, just a few short hours later it doesn't work at all again. I hate...

Re: Brake hose
Figured it out. Ordered from Napa the part is 38418. It looks about 1/4 inch longer. Works perfectly.

Brake hose
I'm looking for a brake hose for the front brake, from the bracket to the brake itself. The length from tip to tip is 8 1/2 inches. Ordered a longer hose that didn't fit because of the bracket, had to alter the bracket and then the hose was still too long so it rubbed on the tire. Have another hose ...

Fuel efficiency on WVO
Just so you guys have some info on this. I did my calculations finally just so I know roughly how much WVO I use in comparison to diesel. So, I used 15 gallons of WVO roughly. Trying to get it to the same spot on the tank is hard. And I was starting and stopping on diesel, so I had to take that into...

Re: My Adventures in WVO Installation
What is the second switch for? or if you get a pump, hose and containers you can dumpster dive grease bandit style. I have heard too many stories about people wrecking their engines that way. Talk the staff into giving oil because then you know what the contaminants are, water and crispy bits. Anyth...

Cold Veg oil start
If anyone could please post a pic or some more detail as to how to get to the wire that is positive when the engine is running and grounded when turned off I would greatly appreciate it. Two days ago I left my system on and the heater killed the battery and it was a very hard start with cold veg oil...

Re: My trip to Cherryville (to install my WVO system)
the concentration of WVO in your diesel tank will increase every time you purge until it is darn near 100%. On top of that in the winter the WVO and diesel will separate in your tank and the oil will be at the bottom so on start-up you will be drawing from the oil layer... Okay. I checked this out....

Re: My trip to Cherryville (to install my WVO system)
Well perhaps I won't be running 20% in my diesel in the winter, but I honestly can't see the small amount in the fuel lines at purge time being an issue.

Re: My trip to Cherryville (to install my WVO system)
nice install, with only one master switch how do you purge the system without sending the WVO in the lines into the diesel tank? I just let WVO go to the diesel tank. I ran 20% WVO in my diesel on the way up to Cherryville so I am not really too worried about the small amount in the lines going int...

Re: WVO for a beginner
If your oil is very clean, you can run 20% in your diesel tank. I don't know too much about it, but I did it this weekend just before I did my wvo install and it ran great. But I did pour it in and use it up while I was running hot, just as a precaution. Although the mix with diesel should keep it t...
