What is L400's stock wheel backspacing?
Will LT245/75/16R fits L400 without any lift, if not then how high do I need to lift?

stock L400 rim - 15x6. @ 4.25" backspacing
245/75/16 'may' fit but you'll have to trim quite a bit not to rub. If you take it offroad, you'll need a lift to clear the wheel wells at full articulation.
2" lift is $710 local.
4-6" lift is $6-8,000 from Japan.

I did the math and the ideal backspacing for 16x7 rim would be between 4.125 to 4.5 if comes with tire size 265-245/75R16. Sounds right?
What driving behaviour and risk would I expect if I decrease backspacing to put tire wall closer to side door slider? 2.625 instead of 4.125 for 265/75?
