It's official.... we are officially "North Shore-Refugees" and are moving to Port Moody as we bought a place there....
We will move as of May first... So here is my question: Any Delica owners out there in Port Moody? Or any part of the Tri-Cities?
I constantly see lots of Deli's in North Van... (they're everywhere) ... but how about Port Moody?
Look forward to finding out more...
Cheers,
Chris

Re: Port Moody
Funny, I'm moving back to the North Shore next weekend. My fiance and I bought a place and I will actually have a garage (for tools, not tall enough for the L400) and a big driveway. I'm already over on the Shore most weekends doing the soccer dad thing.
My fiance's parents live out in PoCo and I've seen a few Delicas in the area. Good luck with your move.

Re: Port Moody
Delicas have spread throughout the lower mainland faster than the chafer beetle! Although, they are generally less damaging to lawns. I can't speak for port moody specifically, but if you widen your scope to include the tri cities (port moody, coquitlam, port coquitlam) there are plenty of us. I can practically see 4 from my house, three L300s and one L400. And Assininboine is a handy place for parts and service. I had my first experience there yesterday, they are knowledgeable and earnest. Check them out on your way home from the poco costco.
Oh - and welcome to the neighbourhood

Re: Port Moody
Well, the move is well underway (painted like a mad-man over the Easter weekend....) - slowly moving in....
But one of the best things yet is the following:
In Port Moody you get the Princess Auto Flyer in the mail (never got one in North Van...) and they send you an Army and Navy flyer too...
Bought some trailer/hitch accessories at P.A. for one third of the price compared to Crappy Tire.....
Cheers, Chris
