Is this the culprit for my 4x4 light

Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

Is this the culprit for my 4x4 light

Post by snelson »

Hi guys, I was crawling around underneith the Deli today, noticed this cut wire.

It's located just under the side step bar, middle of the van, night near where the front drive shaft enters what I guess might be the transfer case??

It's a red wire which leads to a little connector, then the wire becomes yellow, then its cut.
Pretty sure I read about a yelow wire being the cluprit for 4x4 and maybe locked hub lights not working - both lights for me stopped working about 1.5 years ago.

Before I take the time unravelling tape and trying to reconnect this wire - could someone perhaps confirm if this in fact the 4x4 and/or wheel lock light wire for me?

Thanks very much
Steve

This shot is from directly under the break. Blurry part is in fact the cut wire and I think it should be connecting to the taped area to the right - where the other wire is running to...
