Hey folks,
Looking for a replacement tail gate strut, the driver's side has sprung a leak. Thanks for your time.

Re: tail gate strut wanted
Hello
I can help you with that and I am going to Pemberton over the weekend and I so possibly hook up with you. The struts are rebuilt by Strutwise in Surrey. They can be made slightly longer. The last pair I made a bit of a test and with astounding results. They simply flings the door open with a ladder even on colder days, as in, you have to make sure you take a step back
!!! Please feel free to call me 778 865 8225.

I can vouch for Strutwise also. I had mine re-gassed about 5 months ago as they wouldn't support the ladder on my Jasper. They now work perfectly. Frank Irvine at Strutwise is a great guy and can fix any strut (you need to do both, I think he was charging $120 for the pair). He turns them around in about a day, maybe two at the most, depending on backlog.

If you haven't already done it, you can also make the door open a foot higher by swapping left and right, a neat trick that TardisDeli Jay showed me.
