 Whoooooa! Guys I visited Bruce yesterday to pick up some blingy bits and saw all 1500 of his photos!!!! Normally you'd dread a slide show but I have to admit that Canada is one special place and some cracking photos.

If the Breadman gets to read this all I can say is your muffins and bread look "to die for" and what a place to live.

Catch ya all one day....I hope!

glad to hear my buns are admired overseas. the bakery isn't quite ready yet. http://www.gabriolabakery.blogspot.com there is a link to paul's website on my partners page. as you can see it isn't ready quite yet. a visit in august might be premature. we hope to have it all up and running in november. you are welcome to come but as bruce found out friday and saturday are the busy days. we bake from a converted spare bedroom right now, not enough room for a fellow hungry travelers. we do the saturday market here on gabriola and that is worth a trip i think, followed by beers on the deck at silva bay. kevin, our captain from the fire department is well under way in starting his biodiesel set up. he found a lot of good deals at hydroponic stores for used equipment much cheaper than new. we really must meet up some day. you will see from the blog that we are keeping busy. must go dough rising.

 (No comment)

With my open schedule I will find time for a visit and to buy you a beer on the deck of Silva Bay, too good of an offer to refuse. I would also like to see that biodiesel reactor, I so badly want to build one though I'm completely happy running straight canola. I'll admit to being a huge tech-no nerd.... But I only make bread in a bread machine - that's as far as my baking skills go.

Cheers,
Kev

Just passing on a note from Bruce as he's finally re-surfaced...
