Water pump replacement bolts
I just noticed there is bolt locations for the water pump after I've done the job. Is there any problems that anyone knows of that can happen if you don't get all the bolts right?

I think hes talking about the water pump having three different lengths of bolts (and two different hardness levels / torque specifications) and what would happen if you use the wrong bolt in the wrong location. I cannot answer the question though as I am no expert.thelazygreenfox wrote:can you be more specific?

I'd move the bolts to the correct holes, and tighten them to the correct torques- having to re-do a job is a pain, but losing coolant and overheating is worse.
I'm not saying that will definitely happen, but Mitsubishi specified different length bolts and different torques for a reason.

Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.

I will change The bolts around this weekend. Maybe there all in the right location. I doubt it though.

Bottom out a straw (or?) into the bolt holes for the correct length bolt in each hole. The correct torque is in the torque table, "Technical Referance Libraries
" for your vehicle.
