HI all,
So my cold start issues have turned into no start issues. No crank no start. Last week I posted about cold starts and that I wasn't able to start then engine with out a jump. Now I am not even able to jump start the car. Battery posts look good. Tested the batteries with a multi meter and got 12.84 volts. So that's good. Still have a clicking sound when I turn the ignition. At a bit of a lose could it be. The GP, alternator, starter, or piston problem?
Been out of work for a while due to a injury so looking to fix this on the cheap. So any help would be appreciated.
Thanks so much
Troy Scott

I think you mentioned it clicks when you turn the key to the "start" position- just the one click, right, not a rapid clicking?
It's probably your starter motor. If it was any of the other things you mentioned it would crank fine but not start. Before you pull the starter motor though, check that the engine earth strap is in place, and the big wires going to the starter are tight and clean.

Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.
