I am a new member and this is just to introduce myself and my van. It's a 1992 Starwagon and I bought it as a wreck, originally a mini bus. I have ripped out the back seats and I am currently repairing the engine which is a 4g64. I have replaced the pistons rings and big end bearings. I am currently waiting for a head gasket to arrive so I can fit the new cylinder head and then I intend to replace the rear diff centre before getting on to fitting out the van for my round Australia journey. Oh and I'm an ex naval mechanic who went hippy.

Welcome to the club sinbad. Hope you have a fun trip around Oz. A 92 L-300 is just about the perfect machine for the project too! Hope you post some dispatches and pictures.
