Hello,
I am planning on purchasing a l400. I am interested in a 7 seater due to the fact it appears to have 2 shoulder belts in the middle captains chairs as well as the rear seats. What is the config for the 8 seater ie the Chaminox? As we have 2 children in booster seats, we require the shoulder belts and I would like to have the kids in the center rather than spread out around the van. Does the center bench have 2 shoulder belts when the jump seat folded? Will 2 boosters fit in the center bench?
Thanks in adavnce for the answers and experiences
Rick

Re: L400 seatbelt config
My Jasper has no shoulder belts in any of the middle seats. There is a shoulder belt on the fold-up jump seat, but that seat is not that comfortable. I'm pretty sure all 8 seaters are the same.
I have two kids, and I have to admit that I miss having two usable shoulder belts in the middle row.

Re: L400 seatbelt config
For the record my L400 Exceed 8-seater has shoulder belts for both the right side seat and the fold-out jump seat on the left (which I agree is rather uncomfortable for the non-young-of-buttock).
The bench also has a lap belt for the center seat as well as an extra lap belt for the right side seat in the event that you are travelling with the seat facing rearwards.
The more I see of these vans, the more I realize that no two seem exactly the same on the details.

Re: L400 seatbelt config
There are a few LWB L400's with 8 seater config as well.
