Bob from Nootka. Just got mine!

Post by nootkase »

Saw the one I was looking for at CCAuto, so thought I'd better grab it. Four-wheeling up in the clouds is a great antidote for buyers remorse!

1991 White Hi roof plain and simple. Had the seats out and load in within hours. Propane cylinder, chainsaw, toilet, totes, tools, building materials, ice chest, groceries for weeks. No problems on 14% grades. Still learning not to signal with the wipers.

24 hours after purchasing, I'm looking down Tahsis Inlet, Nootka Island, Estevan Point, then nothing until the Tuamotus.

Awesome photo - did alot of forestry work on Nootka Island back in the late 1980's - photo reminds me of the true Wetcoast. Nice rig too. You did the same reaction as mine. I first saw Delica's in the mid 1990's business trips to Japan - and said to myself back then that they needed to come to Canada. I bought mine about 3 weeks after I saw on this side of the pond - no regrets. Loving every minute and actually still finding silly reasons to go driving!!! Haven't done that since I was a teenager!!! Tks for the pic and welcome to the club!
