The stupid plastic coolant bleed screw broke on my L400. I got it out and have a metal one in there right now (BTW, its an M12 x 1.5 if anyone needs a plug), but I'm worried the metal/plastic interface won't be a good solution. Can the expansion of the metal screw damage the plastic housing? I've tried the local bolt supply places and they aren't any help.
In any case I'd like to replace it with the proper piece. Does anyone have a parted out van or something similar with an in tact bleed screw?

I broke mine too.
I replaced it with a steel bolt and I hit the bolt with an angle girder first to make a small notch 2 or 3 threads deep so it still works fine as a bleed screw.
I consider it an upgrade.
