I found a bunch of lobster mushrooms last time I was up in Renfrew. They are Ok. No chantrelles that's for certain!

They going to end up on the thanks giving menu?

I'm surprised Profister hasn't jump on this tread. He sent me a picture from his last weekend collect and holly, should see the size of these things! (mushrooms me talking about...) Love when people use what's available to us (and not through your local food store)

On a side note, went to VIFF tonight to view "People of a feather". Pretty well done and very eye opener...

Cheers,

:o I went to check one of my favored spots at Brandywine Falls and have not seen even one of them suckers. In the past, place would be saturated this time of the year! Will have to see if Mt. Seymour has better offerings.

Probably because he wants to keep his spot on the QT.
Sent from my smart pad, using a pen.

Pappa Smurf?

I love mushroom picking. It's something that my dad and I get to do together. Good times, keep it up!

Is that a little bottle of Jaggermeister next to the stainless steel mug on the picnic table? Very nice compliment to a tasty looking meal.
