Hi board,
I'm a total beginner when it comes to Delicas, and not very experienced with cars in general.
I'm looking to buy an L400 for me and my girlfriend here in Vancouver. I've found a couple here on the board and on Craigslist that seem nice.
However, I feel I don't know enough to be able to judge the cars on inspection/test driving. So I'm wondering if there's somewhere I can take the car for inspection, or if there's someone knowledgable who's willing to help me look?
Thanks!

Not to have a bias opinion, but I bought my Delica from Mardy at amazing auto imports 3 years ago and haven't had a single problem. He does a full service on the vehicle. There is lots of info on this forum. Do a little research, but in the end I would just buy from a reputable dealer...whoever that may be.

Also, CVI in Richmond does vehicle inspections and they really understand how the Delica works: (604)-247 0500.

You cannot go wrong purchasing from Mardy. We purchased our Delica from him a number of years ago with periodic touch ups for spare parts. He has always been honest and straightforward with us.
