Thanks Jesse for the reminder of the best day ever on Delica.ca. We need more good days like that one around here instead of all the doom and gloom of late.

After several glasses of red, I hesitantly wade in.... As a newby Delica owner I rely a lot on what I read here and elsewhere. There is a wealth of info to be mined on Delica.ca and many of the individuals who post have incredible knowledge.
If you are annoyed by the postings of certain individuals, don't leave, use the ignore function. It works!

I post on several forums and I do use the ignore function on them. I have to admit I do sneak a peek now and then....

Re: Taking a break from Delica.ca....another Green1
Ok so it has been a few days...I think I will take some time away from the forum still. But, I feel I need to respond to this thread (especially since it is a bit of a witch hunt)...
These are my own personal thoughts on Delica.ca
1) There is a picture hanging over your bathroom sink of the problem with Delica.ca (We are the problem with what is wrong with this site). Me included.
2) Personally I have been a Azz toward the administration...For that I apologize (but I will ask a few things of you in return...keep reading).
3) Many of the negative comments posted to the Delica.ca forum have involved (or have been directed at) registered dealers. Dealers play a vital role in keeping Delica drivers on the road. Without the dealers/mechanics participation in the community we risk losing knowledge, experience, and innovation. The recent concerns over Injectors points out that it is important that we WORK together so we catch things like this. I have no problems with trying new things (I think my grinder and I have proved this) however with Innovation and new ideas...may come mistakes. Let us fix them and move forward. For an example, as a community we need to make sure that those 4M40 engines running 4D56 injectors are truly ok -pointing fingers is serves no purpose. Maybe the injectors are OK maybe not but without communication we will never solve it. Respect needs to be in all directions.
4) We need to plan a large tailgate party...I mean large in an open location (Maybe SuperExceeded has a spot?). We need to remember the faces behind the online names. Tailgate party where we pull out the BBQs. Southern College Football Style.
5) To the Administrator if you do not have the time...get help..please. More Moderators with clear guidelines to help keep us moving forward on an even keel. And I would like to see new Moderators publically announced. We clearly need moderation and new moderators should be welcomed. And when old moderators retire, let us a community thank them for their service as well. A transparent process of selection would be nice or a system to nominate moderators would be nice. Moderators should be respected and given powers to act (for this clear guide rules will be need if they do not exist). Moderators and administrators need to be responsive by PM...so issue stay out of the public forum. If you are busy a quick note as such and time of further action is always appreciated.
6) I think we need to move forward, forget the stupidity of recent, and move forward.
