FRONT BRAKE PART #'S??!!! Please?
I've searched this site to no avail, I'm in Ontario and need new front rotors/calipers for a '96 L400. If anyone can tell me what the make and part # is for this, or point me to the right forum post that would be greatly appreciated. I bought Montero rotors. Not the same. Hahahaha, Help please!!

Not sure of the part #'s but I bought calipers and pads from Napa this summer for the montero and they were an exact fit. Rotors will have to be special ordered from a Delica Parts dealer.

Crap. That's what I was thinking, the pads I bought will work, but the rotors are hooped because of the calipers sticking. Time to kick back and wait for a delivery I guess!

I read somewhere recently that you can bore out the Montero rotors to fit?
I also found out that Mitsubishi basically made 1 brake pad for most of the 90's, so there is a big selection of applicable parts out there.

* The axle hub is different on the L400's. It is thicker on the inner section hence the larger diameter wheel bearing.

Yep, well, hahahahaha. you win this round!!! I've got rotors on the way, along with a MUCH needed block heater. I told my mechanic about how much of an apparent pain in the a@@ it is, he didn't look happy with me. Maybe time to find someone who WANTS to work on something new and awesome they've never seen before!jfarsang wrote:I put in rotors and this came up. 2 second searchmacro wrote:I've searched this site to no avail

it is a royal pain. if the person doing the install is a 'large' man, he can forget it !
