I love my Delica. Its the nicest one Ive come across. With an A+ exterior/interior and mechanically sound. Price was really right. 1992 Exceed. High Roof Crystal Light. Only took me a year and a half to actually commit to buying one and I have been so happy with it since. Now to sell my car. They remind me of a Transformer. So I have named her the Transformer and when I head of the beaten path its sometimes referred to as Optimus Prime. Laugh if you may, but I think its suiting. All my curtains work flawlessly. I love giving people the automated tour of all the quirky buttons. Oh those crazy Japanese. I'm soon to begin aluminum framework to make it a custom travel vehicle and have many great ideas. Also having a rear fully enclosed vestibule made out of clear vynl and truck tarp. Its getting exciting. Just need to have help from those out there about increasing mileage and finding more accessories. My surfboards will fit so nicely ontop. would like to work on the suspension and get it to sit a little more level and have been wondering if there is an air bag suspension that fits and if it can control ride hight. So I am excited to be building on this toy of mine and am glad to have finally showed up here. My name is Jason and I am from Coutenay/Vancouver BC.

Welcome to the club. Cool name, and I would agree that they do look like a Transformer. What does yours unfold to become?

Welcome aboard! What color is Optimus? I've just finished hanging in Courtenay for the last two months, seeing so many Delicas was nifty.

Hey, can you post some pics of this when it's done? i am trying to customize my 91 hi-roof 5 spd so it is (even more) handy/ comfortable to tour with.
thanks!
