After months of research and browsing the auction pages I have finally purchased my first Delica. Can't believe its finally on its way. I miss looking through the auction pages and think I might have to buy another one, although with another baby on the way I might have some trouble convincing my wife.
I have been reading the threads for months and think I have a pretty good handle on what I need to do once the van lands in port but it seems like importation expections change regulary and also depend on where you go for inspection or which ICBC location you go to.
-I am wondering if there is anything I can do while I am waiting for the van to land?
-Know any good reliable locations for inspection and ICBC (lower mainland)
-OR If anyone wouldn't mind trading BEER AND A BURGER (or like) for some helpful guidance.
-Plus I would love to get another look at a Deli up close. Another case of Delifever!
(Willing to drive to your neck of the woods) Athough the gulf islands might be a little out of my way.
Thanks
Jaime
Trying to make the process as smooth as possible

not sure where you are, but you can come out to the little north shore meet on sunday i'm sure. Check the meet section and you'll find the details.
