Compass stopped working!

The electric compass on my L400 stopped working after a stereo install. The N-E-S-W part of the display just bounces up and down. There is an "S" button next to the compass that I imagine is used to zero it but if I press that the compass just flashes. The outdoor thermometer display still works fine. Any ideas?

press the "s" button, then drive in a right hand circle until it stops flashing up/down (should be just a hair over 360 degrees).

With the compass being the most integral part of the L400 ( I know this cause Lazybrownfart told me so) I would stay in the driveway until you get it fixed.

The last thing we need is a lost Delican

Must be a large driveway to accommodate the not so tight turning radius on the L400

Watcha know...it worked! Compass is now fully functional and I can venture out into the wilds of Richmond again.
