Is your Delica talking back to you ?

Post by jessef »

My sister's L400 Chamonix came with a small box by the drivers leg area that looks like a credit card swipe machine.

I got a call from her and I can hear Japanese voice talking in the background.

It turns out that the box is a toll booth card reader with a small tweeter attached to it and says things at random intervals.

I'll try and record it.

Novelty at first but now annoying ! :-D

Anyone else with similar experience ?

Is your sisters Delica named K.I.T.T. by any chance?

Tell her to look on the bright side...at least it isn't David Hasselhoff shouting random things.

Yes I have one p25 with the similar device. It is a toll collector. It is giving you message as there is no valid toll card or out of balance.

If you record the voice my Hunny will translate and maybe teach you a few nasty words to say back at it :)

This is what it looks like !

The voice quite funny but I can see how it would get annoying after a while :M
