Hello all. My fiance and I are thinking of getting a Delica instead of our 2001 Toyota Echo sometime in the possibly not too distant future. Approximately what kind of fuel milage could I expect to see out of a Delica (city and/or highway)? I don't forsee any problems with the right hand drive either, since I have owned a JDM Toyota Celica GT Four for the last 4 years. :) I'd also like to stick with a 5 speed, since the Echo, GT Four and F350 are all 5 speeds and I want to keep it that way. It also sounds like parts and stuff for the Delica are becoming more plentiful from what I've read on here, which is a very big deal to me.
One forum related question though. When I'm browsing the forums here and I click on a topic that has a paper clip next to the title, I am unable to see the photos that are attached...even stuff that was posted very recently. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I'm signed in and everything...

Yeah, there's some problem with telling the forum you're using IE, or actually using it... it doesn't seem to like it.
My last few tanks were 11.68L/100km 10.88L/100km 12.05L/100km 10.73L/100km and my running average is 11.24L/100km. I live in a hilly area, so consumption is a bit high from that, plus I haven't had the injection timing checked and that can improve efficiency too.

Thanks for the replies and info! Sure enough Firefox displays all the photos on Delica.ca just fine.

Welcome to the club.
I've only had my (auto) Deli for just over a month, but I've done 2700 km, averaging 12.3 L/100km. But my mileage is getting better with each fill, and the last one was 11.8.
