Hey there
We are new Delica owners....
and our back windows have been fogging up during the heavy rainy days, any advice as to which ventilation would be most suitable to keep visibilty through the windows clear?
We've tried a few combinations....??

Re: fogging back windows
turn your rear climate control on, room tempish or warm if you want to warm up, that will get some more air moving, on the front make sure its on the straight through arrow thing, not recirc, i have found recirc keeps the moisture in the vehicle. My delica used to have a lot of moisture in it, I have a 1500w space heater that absolutely eats moisture, i left it on overnight though i never felt that good about that, but in the morning it was toasty warm and dry as a bone.

You can run with the AC on with the temperature wherever, AC tends to suck all the moisture out. Also cracking a window will help. As a last resort stop breathing.

Re: fogging back windows
Did you check your Delica for wet carpets, it seems to be a common problem with the L300, more info's in this thread

Re: fogging back windows
I've got rear defrost setup on my deli - switch light works, but defrost does not. Same problem on my deli and other cars really - seems to crap out easily. Thought to check the fuse but haven't had time and figured it should be linked with something else that isn't working if that was the cause. Anyone have any thoughts? I've already checked the connections from the body to the rear window....hmmm???

jrman, just a guess but a common problem on alot of cars (not just deli's) is the wiring that is in between the body and the door breaks off inside the rubber sheath. Just open the hatch, look up in the middle. Pop the rubber off on the body side (easiest to see) and then start pulling (gently ish) on some wires, if you get a wire end in your hand, it is broken.

Tks Eric - checked and wiring seems ok. Have same problem with 2003 Cavalier and 2001 Toyota Sienna - maybe it's just my family!
