My 95 L400 came from japan with an HKS boost gauge, mounted in a metal bracket and affixed to the dash with double sided tape.
I love the gauge but not the ugly location, so I stuffed it into the center hole in the gauge pod. Luckily it fit perfectly in the hole. I was able to use the metal bracket to position the gauge properly in the plastic piece that holds all the gauges. A little hacking of plastic made everything fit perfectly.
I like it because it looks mostly stock, nice and clean.
