2762 km test drive
Well my wife and I finally took the plunge....we now own a White 92 Exceed. We purchased the Delica on Saturday Oct 9 then drove it on a 2762 km "test drive" from Vancouver BC to Whitehorse Yukon. It was AWSOME! We sleep in the van the on our way up. We are now back home and would like to thank Christine and Jay for everything (the light force lights are great and we used the secondary 12V plug in right away). Thanks for taking the time to show us the in's and out's of the Delica, if you ever venture north we are right on the Aklaska Hwy and there is room at our place for you to stay (thanks again)

That's a heck of a test drive! Did you take any pictures along the way? Hwy 97 all the way north?

We took only a few photos at Muncho Lake (Northern BC) we drove at night a great deal and we were in a bit of a time crunch.
The trip was AMAZING though and I would encourage any Delica owners to experience the north.

Attached are two photos of the delica (aka SnowBall) at Muncho Lake Northern BC.
The hills in Northern BC and Southern Yukon were alive with Dall Sheep, Mule Deer, Caribou and of course large heards of Bison. A fantastic first drive for the delica

A Super Exceed with sliders and a racing fin - very nice. I'm always fascinated by the number of configurations on these vehicles.

Yeah, really. That's a '91, init? ~ And a sweet looking machine.
Now the fun begins and one thing that I would recommend you doing is tweaking the torsion bars to lift the front end back up to level. It will make a big difference in your cornering. There are many who lust after the sliding windows and the spoiler will keep the snow and dust off of your rear windscreen. Nice catch... smiles.
Falco.
By the way, now that you have taken her for a 2,762 kilometre test drive ~ will you be paying for it or do you just own it now?
