How rare is the availability of sliding widows? I dont see alot out there and its a nice perk.
What do i look for when keeping an eye out for illegal tires?

Don't know about the windows.
As long as your tires have a DOT stamp on them you will be OK

Re: SLiding widows/non compliant tires
CC autos has some sliding windows in stock,
all have seals which are in rough shape.
I have a side sliding window for the sliding door I was going to put in.
Its not in perfect shape, PM me if interested.

Re: SLiding widows/non compliant tires
Acceptable tires in Canada :
DOT or Load rating (PSI/load)
If the tires have uneven/low tread and/or cracking, they will not pass inspection (unless the inspector is 'not by the book')
