My inspection sticker indicates I will need to have the vehicle re-inspected in a years time. Is this true, are yearly inspections required?

You do not have to have it re-inspected it is another pointless area of the BC inspection process . The BC inspection is a one off process and will not require another inspection unless it is registered out of BC and then bought back to the province .

Great, this is as I had thought, however I can see an overzealous commercial inspector, or even a police officer trying to say otherwise.
