whats a good place to buy or get injectors rebuilt?

Anyone have injector part #s?

NW injection in port kells is really good, perhaps a bit pricey compared to some, but, quality is worth paying for. Unlike some, they will infact rebuild your injector rather than clean it, put in new "seals" and tell you they are rebuilt.

NW said it's about $25-30 for cleaning/flow testing and setting the spring pressures per injector, that is of course if you remove the injectors to give to them, they will of course do that for extra $$$. Of course replaced nozzles are more money, but, hopefully you don't need that. I would actually prefer a tested set of injectors because then you know they are all flowing the same.

If it was me...

well with a new set, take the old ones to the NW shop and have them tested and repaired for $25/30 per. Then you can just swap them out when needed hehe.

Cause that would be advertising a business and most forums have a rule against it....so I just don't do it anywhere.

well this forum is always looking for more sources for parts and service. if your not involved in the business there is no problem, but if you don't want to post it, send it to me and I will.

On second thought, I will keep my sources private. I don't want to lose them. But anyone who does the amount of searching I've done can find the same sources.

My only concern with posting a source is having a Canadian business take advantage and turn around and resell to Canadians without passing on the savings (profiteering) and I don't want to help enable that. They probably already do it as its no secret parts can be imported from the UK but I get pretty freaking mad when a Canadian business quotes me $1500-2000 for something I know for a fact doesn't cost that much and when confronted they play dumb or tell me I'm wrong and they really don't care cause they'll just sell it to the next sucker that walks through the front door.

Sorry for ranting a bit. Buying stuff is a bit of a touchy subject for me. And with Gordo getting re-elected yet again and proposing the HST I'm really pissed off now (and I'm not quite sure who to be mad at, him or those that elected him?). LOL

I'm sorry but this makes no sense, you admit that some are probably already turning these parts over so if you provide the info it will enable people to cut out a middle man, or at least add a little competition. the local guys will always have the advantage of quick access so not like it's going to kill them. nothing wrong with giving people options. I also find it hard to believe that you would lose a source because you helped them get more business, unless these parts are stolen or something :)

I think that the UK peeps could see an opportunity to apply a surcharge for filling overseas orders. Reasoning would be..

1) they make a few extra bucks
2) we are still getting a deal so we will still buy them
3) once it gets out that we are paying a surcharge and still gobbling them up others selling will do the same. (sorta like the gas stations in your neighborhood, funny that the prices are almost always identical)

everyone has their own oppinions on how the world works and in the end we seldom know who is right - generally speaking :)
