Which DRL module?

I first checked at C/Tire and for $40 they have a Canadian made (What?? Not made in China??) unit that apparently engages low beams plus parking lights. I then checked at Lordco and they have the Grote 44040 for $46. From what I could tell the Grote only affects the low beams; no parking lights. I actually prefer the idea of parking lights being on as well as L/beams. The C/Tire item is considerably larger than the Grote at about 3" x 3" compared to the much smaller Grote at about 1.5" x 1.5".
So am I correct in thinking the Grote affects L/beams only and if so, have any of you tried the larger C/Tire module... and was it OK?

That would've been awesome... unfortunately "Yoda", my L400, has not set foot in Canada just yet. Mark at Brave is taking care of a few details and my friendly little alien should be here mid-August.
