roof rack/basket

Post by dmg »

It was a dark and stormy night when I purchased a cheap, mainly aluminum rack for my then new Delica. At the time I really, really needed a rack to carry the canoe and the price was much lower than the other racks I had seen advertised on the forum.

The rack in question has only been used once before I upgraded to a set of bar type racks so the rack is in good shape.

The rack will fit the high roof and if you are interested send me a PM. I would like to try and offload the basket to some poor unsuspecting Delica owner before I resort to the recycle bin.

I apologize in advance - my schedule is nuts so I am hard to get a hold of.

Hey DMG, any chance you can put up a picture?

I'm more interested in the basket, as the racks themselves probably won't fit my vehicle...

My original description may not have been the best. I don't know that you could separate the "basket" part from the rack.

There are three "L" brackets that come off the aluminum rails and rest in the rain gutter.

I see - unfortunately I don't have roof rails on my car, so will have to pass.

Thanks for the response though, and good luck with the sale!

Hey Bikepoor,

Get in touch with Delicat - he's Eastbound in the next week or so- he may have enough room to play Greyhound for you.

Cheers

Sorry the rack is gone.

A few people have expressed intrest in the rack so I back tracked until I got to the first response.

If for any reason the first pickup/drop off falls through I will contact the next in line.
