Hello all you Deli-Files!! I am the proud new owner of a pristine all silver 93 Delica Super Exceed(I don't actually possess it until Monday). I have been looking , test driving, learning, dreaming, salivating, etc... for about a full year now....Until last week when Sabir @ Max Overdrive got in the prettiest Deli I've seen. So deposit was laid down, deal hashed out, and Monday(after compliance, inspection, and FULL service done) she will be in my driveway!!
First up,
-limo tint
-fender flares(black)
-fix crystal shade that no worky
-upgrade stereo!!!
Thanx to all you members of Delica.ca for just bein here, you all helped me be super way informed while I hunted for my diamond in the rough. I look forward to meeting many of you and sharing our infatuation for these sweet trucks.
I also should take a second here to thank publicly Sabbir, Lindsay, and Chris over at Maximum Overdrive for all their willingness to make sure I was happy with my Beautiful new Delica. Not only did they accomodate every request I made, they even threw in a few nice extras at no cost. For anyone wondering who to TRUST, these are good honest people who seem to love these vehicles and who did good by me. I would recommend them to anyone I meet looking for a JDM.
Thanx guys,
Sean.

With window tint and black flares, on there way, do you plan to black out the bars?
Cheers,
Kev

I love the silver on silver. Here's one I was watching before I got one through terra2. Gives you an idea what the flares and tinted windows will look like.

Nicest one I've seen in Pics for sure, I have been watching that one for two weeks myself, and trying to get things going to finally get my own
Surf/Camp mobile. Must say I'm very jealous but glad that it went to someone with their priorities straight! ie Surf More, Bitch Less!

Thanx Kev, I think she's a gem too. The blacked out bars would be a wicked contrast to the silver body but.....man the chrome is in mint condition and unless I had it sandblasted and powdercoated,I don't think I'd do as nice of a job as I could've had the bars all bin white. I'm gonna stick with the chrome for now considering the mirrors and stuff are too. That rig is a real gem! Very nice and Congrats.

Also thanx to Glenn for that inspirational pic! That sucker is a beauty man, sliding windows too!

Re: My MitSurfbishi...
My 2 cents worth, I like your existing chrome better than the black bars. I wonder if at night other drivers would be less likely to back into you if the chrome is more reflective.

Re: My MitSurfbishi...
That van was at Japan Road Trip wasn't it? I almost bought it but when I went to see it there was a black super exceed with a roof rack, basket, ladder, spare captains chairs, carpet and oh ya it was $1000 cheaper too, mostly because the rack all the seats in the back and the extra carpet was just piled in the back so it looked messy, I'll take more stuff for less with just a little work to get it together any day. I never noticed the sliding windows on that one until just now though, mine has pop out but each has there ups and downs so no biggie to me.glenn wrote:I love the silver on silver.
