New Delica in the Colwood/Langford area...(Victoria BC)

Hey all.

I've been lurking on this site for about a year now & became serious about buying a Delica about 3 months ago. So for the past 3 months I've been obsessively checking this site, as well as all the buy/sell sites, literally every day, looking for the right Delica. I was looking for a Crystal Lite with captains chairs (7 seater), low km's & one that had been in the country & driven around for about a year so all the bugs were worked out.

I saw an ad on this site 3 weeks ago that had all the things I was looking for, took it for a test drive later that week & knew right away, it was the one!

It's a white 1991 Super Exceed w/Crystal Lite roof (all shades working) & has 58,888 km's, sunroof, 7 seater, BFGoodrich All Terrains & hot/cold box. It's in beautiful condition inside & out & I'm very, very stoked!!

I just want to thank Kuan & Hillary very much for the hassle free deal & for just being really cool people.

My camera battery died today, so I'll just hafta post the pics Kuan used in the ad. Also, there's no way I could take a better pic anyway, so credits to Kuan.

Thanks everyone on this site for the wealth of knowledge & inadvertantly helping me decide to buy a Delica. I look forward to seeing you all on the road!

This is an excellent looking van!!! I may be a little biased because it looks just like mine with the exception that I have after market rims.

Welcome to the group. Yes, that is an excellent looking van... and I am biased because the Moon Machine is the same.

As my wife commented previously: these vehicles ACTUALLY look good in white (not many do), and it looks good as a van (most white vans look like, well, white vans - boring).

Mararmeisto, I'll be looking out for you, as we're practically neighbors. I wanted to ask you what our options are, as far as locations, for purchasing deisel in the West Comms?

I remember reading a post from someone who said they "never considered themselves to be a person who just drove around with no place to go", but I can totally relate. I noticed we're almost out of...ummmm...milk? Or bread? So I better run out & get some.

Diesel is easy to find out here.....

Shell's at 6-Mile and Hatley Park on Sooke Road, or if you like Langford, the Chevron at Goldsteam and Vet's Memorial. The one at Hatley hasn't updated their pumps yet so you have to pre-pay rather than paying at the pump.

No idea whay it's so expensive right now....but at least it's easy to find.

Coach, thanks for the info on deisel sites. I'll watch out for you too, even though I don't know what your Deli looks like. I made a "suggestion" under "site suggestions" that might make it easier to identify who's driving what, aside from asking for you to send a pic. Hope it works!
