Delica in Keremeos BC Jan 6th, and Grand Forks Jan 20

Post by Adrock »

I have been cruising the interior a lot lately, and was surprised to see more delis than I expected. I saw one on the 6th of this month, heading west down the straight stretch in Keremeos, I believe it was a woman, she gave a friendly smile and a wave. The next was just this saturday (the 20th) I saw a 91 (I believe) Chamonix in Grand Forks with ladders on top of it. I tried to wave but the fellow was on the other side of his van loading something into it.

Were these anyone on here?

I wish we could get some cards made up to let people know. It would be great to expand the group.

Adam.

Good idea Adam, Delica club cards... maybe someone thats a whiz on the computer can design something up that we can just print off from home... otherwise there is always the good ol pen and paper note under the windshield.

Would anyone be interested in stickers for club member's rides? I would love to sport a Delica.ca decal. (hmm, maybe i should look into that)

Josh -- for purposes of any delica-related decals, etc., you may not be aware but there is actually a Delica Font -- available for download at the Australia site:

http://www.delicaclub.com/downloads.php ... b0d0c09fe2

You'll notice that the same page also has a some nifty ideas of promotional-related materials that the Ausies have been using. Any graphic design artists out there?

Cheers,
Mark

I was also thinking, how about just http://www._______.ca

the _______ being the delica on the backs of our rides.

Just an idea, could gete people who are just curious onto the site and help things grow even more.

Just let me know what you want - I've got my own professional vinyl cutter and a load of kit for making merchandise! ("Delica CA" mugs, t-shirts & mousemats anyone! )

Here are just some examples of what I can do:

 Seatbelt pads
 Mugs
 Other mug designs
 T-shirts
 Mousemats
 Stickers
 Any type of sticker

You decide what you want on any item (wording etc...) what colours you want and I can have a go at roughing up some ideas for you.... :D

How about a Van atop a maple leaf and delica.ca underneath. I think we can drop the www - its redundant.

Yeah!

Now your talking! Not that I am into killing animals (Veggie here) but that would be pretty hardcore. Not sure how I would explain the sticker to my son though or why we have it...

What about the Deli atop a big clear cut riding over some big stumps.

I'd take a camo hat with suferboys logo idea on it *grin* Talk about a conversation piece.... how bout it Bruce? Maybe a Comonwealth Delica meet shirt for the spring? I am sure we would all dish out for one.

so i guess nobody from keremeos or grand forks is on here huh?

Man I wish we had some sort of card to give them. The Delicas in BC without Delica.ca are like a horse with no name.

How about a Delica rolling over Jimmy Pattison and the rest of these A-holes that want to institute the 25 year ban? Or, less offensive, how about the number 25 in a circle, with a line running diagonally through it?
