Heello Deli-coholics,
Yes, meeting tomorrow morning 9am to 10am at McDonalds, just North of the Highway 1. It is the first left after the freeway, very obvious and visible. Cross Street is Still Creek Road.
Entrance has roadway construction so take it slow. Park the Fleet nearest to the freeway, so we can easily see each other, and also visible from the upstairs childrens play area (huge deluxe climbing area) / and comfy leather chairs in front of the fire and TV... For the kids, and less than enthusiastic spouses (you mean there are actually people who don't really care exactly what model of headlights or tires you have, and don't see the fascination of just standing and staring at motionless Delicas). Family can sample M's new cinnamon buns. It is located right beside Still Creek, so bring tall boots and spare clothes for the kids (water about 8 to 16 inches), lots of ducks live there so bring some food and vegetables if you want to feed them. Nice treed river side walkway. I don't have shares in McDonalds but they have huge parking lots, clean washrooms, kids play areas, and don't care how many of us turn up.
Bring your umbrellas (finally a use for that huge beach / golf umbrella). to assist in staring at the motionless delicas. Bring yr picnic lunch, shoes suitable for muddy road.
Not sure how many are doing fixes tomorrow morning. We will be troubleshooting the right high beam headlights on the Tardis, so those who havent figured out how to undo their light covers can follow along.
Then 10am, pack up the wagon train. Convoy enters freeway via Willingdon on ramp at 10:05 am. Should get to junction of Highway 11 by 11:15am . Then follow the route detailed in my original posting information. Stop at the Stave Lake boat ramp (just a very few minutes up the smooth gravel road). This will be a long stop (20 minutes??) to allow everyone to catch up from the road. Toilet break. Photo op. Chit chat. Decide who wants to carry on up the gravel road.
If you're lost, or wanting to meet the convoy: edited -- cell # deleted after trip -- cl. I will check this email a few times tonight then lastly 8:30 am tomorrow morning for any replies.

Great meeting everyone today.
Here's a sneak peek of today's convoy to Stave Lake. We had sun, rain, hail and snow all in one afternoon.

Regards, Jason.

Re: 1 March 2008, Meet/Fix + CONVOY Stave Lake Forestry road
Hi everyone!
Very glad I got to join the convoy, had lot's of fun. Seems like a lot of us took similar pictures but before the extras pictures here is what hasn't made the big screen, yet...
Somebody (not naming anyone by respect
) ended up abusing the help of some very busy towing buddies. Can you imagine, they get 2 Delica to pull them off a mud pit and if that wasn't enough kept asking for more, keep going! Keep going! (until somebody pointed out that he was in neutral!
We all had a good laugh!
ps. I also have some videos of you bare feet tying up the rope in knee deep water... PM me if you want it!
