After bugging many of you about your rides I've finally taken the plunge and bought a 92 exceed. I'm loving it! It has struck the "deli"cate balance between my beat up old toyota pickup and my much loved vw vans which I've had lots of.
I'll miss the camping functionality of the westy but alas cars really should be good for driving and I've always said that westfalias are best when parked :)
I bought a low roof with sunroof model thinking I could eventually fab up a kind of pop top and not have to really modify the delica in order to use it. But this project is not high on the urgancy list. Being able to stand up would be nice and not having to mess with the comfort of the "downstairs" would also be good. I really do like the way they designed the interior.
So there we are, yet another delica has moved to squamp-town and I'm stoked to have it!
See you on the right!
peace

Re: New delica in Squamish
Well done! I knew it was coming but glad to see you got her so quickly, now time to enjoy! Is it the 7 or 8 passengers?
I like the low roof with moonroof, they have a very rugged look... It's like they are begging to get dirty unlike the crystallite style! (Unless you watch those Russian's videos!)
Now you'll have to make it to the next meet!
Congrats again and catch up later!
