Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

Upper Ball Joints with 2" Lift

Post by cosmo727 »

Hello Delica Guys

I need to replace my upper ball joints and I have a 2" lift with spacers in between the upper control arm and the joint. The ball joints that I have now do not have grease nipples. I want to order new ball joints but I am unsure about the OEM part number (MR241623 Partsoug.com) because it shows the ball joint with a grease nipple.

Any thoughts???
Thanks

The ball joint spacers on mine have a large hole in the middle to make room for the grease nipple. I fitted a long grease nipple so I can still regrease them.
Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.

Thanks for your input. I'll try and source ball joints with nipples and replace the angled nipple with a straight one.

That said, in my experience most budget/generic replacement ball joints don't have grease nipples. I like being able to grease the ball joints (it gives me something to do) but I expect the sealed versions last long enough.
