Scratched windows from rolling up and down
I noticed yesterday that both my front windows have vertical scrapes in them from winding up and down. What would cause this? Worn out window trim? Something on the inside causing them to move around? Thanks!

often this is caused by sand dust or dirt caught in the window felts/squeegees. Try to clean them out with water.

My window was slightly out of the track and this occurred. Pretty simple to pop off the panel and take a look. Good time to give it a shot of silicone soray a well. Unfortunately my drivers side window likes to slip out of the track, I can now do the whole repair in under 15 minutes haha.

Re: Scratched windows from rolling up and down
I had the "slipping out of the guide" issue and I got really good at popping it back in ~ to the point where I didn't have to remove the door liner and would just slip my fingers in near the hinge and "let them do the walking" as it were. One day I hooked up with Andii and the Shaun van Ramen and we figured out that the screws that hold the guide in place had loosened off ever-so-little but enough to let the guide shift enough to let the window free. Here's a thread I posted on it: http://www.delica.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=16747
My opinion regarding the scratched window, Auto Glym (and others, I'm sure) has a product for polishing glass, you can get it at Canadian Tire, it has the blue label. Depending on how deep the scratch is it won't be an instant result but it's doable. Another option is 2000 grit wet & dry sand paper (applied wet). It's very fine and is really the coarser end of polishing, then apply the glass polish. I'd try the glass polish on it's own first.
