Hi all,
Driving into work today and lost headlights, brake lights, hazards and horn. Checked all fuses near steering column and the only fuse I'm aware of near the battery and none were blown. I have see other posts by Falco and others regarding DRL etc but it is beyond me. Any other easy checks anyone can recommend? Also I like to take my van to Mardy but that could be a challenge without the brake lights. I'm in Burnaby near BCIT, anyone know of anyone reliable in the area.
Thanks, Jason.

It's probably a fusible link in the battery compartment or a fried plastic connector, as was with mine. Send a PM to TardisDeli, Jay & Christine are good people and will likely help you out.

Hi Jason, definitely is the fusible link. This is located above the battery, dangling, it is a little spider like thing. They die with age, or maybe you added a new light or stereo or something. A black plastic box about one inch by 2 inch. with four wires going into it and out. Each wire is techically a fuse, as it melts before the entire wire can melt. One needs to replace the burnt bit (only one wire is burnt out by your description) with exactly the same quage wire. Do NOT put a thicker wire, cuz it wont melt quick enough, and you will burn your entire wiring harness and have to rewire gazillions of electrical components in your deli.
I will PM you jay's phone number, evenings after 6 is best for him, up to 10pm.
Regards Christine.
