No, the 2 Oz bucks were in the Delica! When I pulled my rear bench seat in my westy a couple years back I found almost 2 dollars in change, business cards and lip gloss. My lips are so much more supple now and I bought a slurpee

Re: what did you do WITH your delica today
I thought this Geocaching thing was a world-wide phenomenon.
Having said all this, I found a 100yen coin under my front driver side carpet. Rumour has it that it is a good luck thing. That or a sloppy mechanic. I did spend it though the last time I was in Japan :) ($1.28 cdn)

After five months, I finally got around to take the 400 out of storage and drive it for the day

I ran into a guy from Florida today who builds expedition vehicles. He imports vehicles from Australia. Currently he's working on a 1996 Ladcruiser, has an 80's Hilux Surf and was driving this 4runner with a TD from a Hilux under the hood.

Went camping at Porpoise Bay P.P. (Sechelt) on the weekend.
It was the first official designated "camping" use of our campout conversion. Worked well and the weather cooperated nicely.

We went geocaching this weekend in the Delica.
TinyToy brought his Safari out and we went looking for mud and

Way cool, Firesong. Did you use 4WD there? You worked through some of that little bog but you traversed the obstacle with grace, I enjoy watching it.

4x4 was engaged... I bogged down a bit at the end but surprisingly the
Delica just kept going without needing to be downshifted. Where I got
stuck was less bog and plain black muck down to the front diff. Needed
more clearance.
Fun times, and found some geocaches doing it.

Re: what did you do WITH your delica today
I was camping with my Delica, and around 3:30am I was roused from my sleep by the sound of a Barred Owl. I'm not sure how many of you have had the chance to hear one, but wow, what a treat! One of the coolest sounds in nature, imo. And no, they don't sound like Shakespeare.

Re: what did you do WITH your delica today
Got the last of my winter wood supply from a friend who has a mill and lets me take the side cuts. Beautiful old Douglas fir. No pictures, but I had my 4'X8'X2' trailer piled as high as possible. Heavy load but no trouble for the little L-300. The third such load in the last couple of weeks. Lots of work, but it sure feels heaps good having enough fuel for the looming winter : )

Happy Day!
