mitsubishi L300 1984 batery location

Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

i have just recently perchased a 1984 mitsubishi L300 van and the battery has gone flat before i even get to drive it, can someone please tell me where i can find the battery location so i can take it out and get it replaced or recharged.

Hi Chris,

I've never seen a '84 so I could be wrong but it's still worth the try. Chances are it's in the engine bay under the passenger's seat.

slide the drivers seat forward, should be a battery compartment there, or lift the carpet on the bulkhead behind the seat it's there somewhere ??? good luck.

The Super Exceed in the pictures (mine 8-) ) has twin batteries, which yours may not have. The latches for the engine cover are by the driver's left calf, and by the passenger's left calf (with an extra fail-safe hook that you have to lift up). You should see the flaps in the carpet where the latches are.
