Re: Snow - chains, driving, etc....

Today was the first snow drive for Shaun Van Ramen. We were pleasantly surprised with 4H. Even with it's moderate all-seasons on. Bring it on!!!! Keep offering opinions on tires as SvanR will need new whellies in the near future. I find first hand info always useful (provided it is objective). My on...

Re: Anyone got nifty toys for their toolbox?

As a former motorcycle racer Duct Tape always comes in handy. It will pretty much fix anything if applied liberally enough!!! :-)

Re: Catalog inspired counter

I really wanted to build a wall console unit with TV, DVD, microwave and fold-out bar, but then my Co-pilot gave me THAT look so I opted for just the counter :-D

Dreaming up the folding bed and window treatments - As a newbie hear I find everyones ideas good stimulation.

Re: Sleeping platform teaser

Hi Shaun Van Ramen the curtians have already been spoken for - my friend from Rossland BC is getting them she helped me with getting this delica so I am a little in her debt. No Problems! I have checked out 2 Home Depots and no luck on the rollers. But me thinks me has other ideas based an other me...

Catalog inspired counter

Has anyone else gone through the Delica Accessories Catalog and started drooling like me! It inspired me to make a counter for Shaun Van Ramen today. Pretty simple, but I believe it will utilize the area behind the front seats more effectively. I still need to install cup holders just behi...

Re: Greeting from Malaysia

Welcome Faizee -
Malaysia - wow! Would love to see some pictures of your "outland" experiences. I go to Japan quite often and hope to do similar trips there.

I am new here too and the information and contacts you can get here is good. Enjoy!!!

Re: Clear Creek Hot Springs Attempt

Great! Would love to hear your travels. If you can, make note of the distance on the Clear Creek Rd. to the hot springs. I know I went 11km in.

Clear Creek Hot Springs Attempt

Nov10 004B.jpg As a new Delica owner and a new member to the forum I wanted to share updated information. I did some research on how to get to Clear Creek H.S. on the east side of Harrison Lake. To my surprise most of the info (on various forums) was several years old. So it was left to my Backroad...

BproofOG -
What are your plans for the curtains? Is it going to be curtains for them (sorry, had to!).
I am looking for curtains for my '91 or at least the runners.
Please PM or email me if they are available.

Re: Part numbers for L300 (to be verified)

I will confirm with TardisDeli - I just did the front brakes on my '91 and they are an exact fit (*almost). * The only difference is the backing plates. The replacement ones are not exact so I used the old ones off the OEM (I assume) pads. I got mine at a local auto parts store - $94/set - Raybestos...

Re: Rebirth of Exceed

16th and Cambie - Friday night - Someone walking across the crosswalk gave us "The Wave" (Three fingers spread) - Cool that one does not even need to be in their vehicle to acknowledge.

Re: Deli names

We got ours the day before Halloween (note date) - my Hunny wanted to call it "Casper" but I never really liked the cartoon. Then came a character from one of our fave animations (Wallace and Gromit) - Shaun the Sheep - The Deli is white and black and will hopefully will get us out of trouble just l...

Rebirth of Exceed

I recently picked up a '91 Delica Exceed. Since it is white we call it Shaun ( as in Shaun the Sheep from Wallace and Gomit fame ). Have had it 5 days now and the thing is too much fun. Just wondering if there is a secret Delica.ca wave to give when passing others on the road??? I guess my first que...
